Try installing through Parallels or VMware Fusion. I had the exact came problem, but I tired downloading a trial version of parallels to see if that would work, it did! there was one error message during the installation, I clicked "continue" and it finished fine. The reason Windows has trouble installing on a mac HD with Bootcamp is because of a little known program called Rollback.exe. Google it. To tell you the truth, neither Bootcamp or Windows 7 are amazing programs. I dont like the idea of using Parallels and only using a chunk of my amazing processing speed. If you need both, you need both. I run Autodesk Revit Architecture in Parallels and it renders slow, but is quite amazing software in every other aspect.

Boot Camp is built into the OS X operating system of the Macs. If you go to your Applications > Utilities folder, you will see the Boot Camp Assistant app. Boot Camp makes a separate partition on your computer's hard drive (think of it as splitting your hard drive into two separate parts) specifically for installing and running windows. Upon launching the Boot Camp Assistant app, you have the option to change how large this partition is. Once Windows is installed in Boot Camp, every time you turn on your computer, you will be asked to select the operating system you would like to run. This means to switch from OS X to Windows, you need to reboot your Mac.
I have faced similar issues in my desktop and laptor. So I reinstalled windows on both. But getting same error every time. I even install windows 10 and 11, eight times in both machine. But it gives me following error. Tries several fixes from internet, but that doesn't work.

Yes, it’s possible to remove a virtual machine and keep the files. This is easily accomplished by following the steps highlighted in this article with one exception. When you reach Step 5, a popup window will give you three options. You see “Move to Trash,” “Cancel,” and on the far right “Keep Files.” By selecting this last option, “Keep Files,” the virtual machine will be removed but the files will remain. The good news is you’ll only have to put one file on it. Simply locate the .pvm file and move it to the external drive. When you want to restore the virtual machine, it’s just as easy. Hi Greg, I've activated the TPM chip on parallels desktop 17.1, but when I start the virtual machine with Parallels it warning me which the TPM information was missing.... and then ask me if I want to stop or to continue to use the Virtual machine.
Now I switched to a new Macbook Pro with Apple M1 cpu which has an ARM64 architecture. So I'm now on Windows 11 ARM version. Cisco is the only VPN client (and those on virtual desktops) which is working in this constellation. I tried the 32 and 64 bit versions of the current windows FortiClients, none is working. 2ff7e9595c
